Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a NICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Ohio. An active OH or compact RN license and NICU experience are required. Duties include caring for neonates in a pediatric NICU, with 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:00) and weekend rotations.

Responsibilities include expertise with various oxygen delivery methods, central line, PICC, and umbilical line management, and float duties as needed. Local candidates may be paid at the same bill rate.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Ohio or compact.
• Minimum 1 year NICU experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Current CPR and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) of a pediatric hospital.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00).
• Weekend rotation required, typically every 3rd weekend.
• Float to inpatient units when not needed in the NICU.
• Skilled in O2 delivery methods including N/C, high flow, CPAP, NIV, and ventilator care.
• Central line, PICC, and umbilical line competency required.
• Direct nursing care to neonatal ICU patients including line management.
• Navy blue scrub top with navy blue or black pants.
• Smoke-free facility and campus.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Former permanent employees must wait 6 months before returning as traveler.
• Travelers must wait 1 year before returning to the facility.
