Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a NICU RN for a travel assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. The role requires 18+ months NICU experience, active RN license, and BLS/PALS/NRP certifications. The contract runs about 22 weeks with 36 hours per week, nights, and travel benefits.

The RN will provide specialized newborn care in the NICU, collaborating with physicians and staff to manage critical cases and high-tech equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS, PALS, & NRP Certifications.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other conditions.
• Work in the NICU with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators and incubators.
