Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel NICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on advanced care for critically ill newborns in a NICU, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team and ongoing family education.

Requirements include 1 year NICU experience, valid RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications. Preferred credentials include RNC-NIC, PALS/ENPC. Travel pay package with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a NICU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill and premature newborns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following NICU standards.
• Perform neonatal assessments including vitals and weight checks.
• Operate NICU equipment such as ventilators and CPAP machines.
• Assist with life-saving procedures like intubation.
• Educate and support parents on neonatal care.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates.
