Job summary

TotalMed RN in Fargo, ND is seeking a NICU RN for a travel assignment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Start date 09/28/2026, duration 14 weeks, 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts.

Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience, BLS and NRP certifications, and is prepared to provide critical care to ill and premature infants while supporting families. Travel experience is a plus; we offer competitive pay and travel stipends.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
