Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Glendale, California. This role requires 18 months of NICU experience and an active RN license, with BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.

The assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour day shift. You will join a supportive team and work in a top healthcare facility, enjoying travel benefits and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS, PALS, & NRP certifications.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
• Work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high‑risk newborns requiring high‑technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.
