Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN in the NICU for a 13‑week assignment in Glendale, Arizona. You will work 36 hours per week with 12‑hour night shifts, providing specialized care for newborns in the NICU alongside a team of healthcare professionals.

Applicants should have 18 months of NICU experience, an active RN license, and BLS/PALS/NRP certifications. A nursing degree from an accredited program is required, with client facilities setting additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
• Work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high‑risk newborns requiring high‑technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.
