Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Pennington, NJ. The position starts 10/07/2026 in a Level III NICU and runs for 8 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week across 3x12-hour night shifts.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,015 to $2,162. Documentation is via Cerner EMR. Requirements include NJ RN license (or compact), BLS and NRP, and NICU experience; travel nurses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or a compact license
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience; prior travel nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for neonates in the NICU, monitor vital signs and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications, provide respiratory support, thermoregulation and nutrition support
• Collaborate with NICU team to develop and implement care plans for newborns
• Document patient data and progress in Cerner EMR, ensure accurate handoffs and thorough records
• Support family education and engagement around newborn care and discharge planning
• Adhere to unit protocols and infection control practices while maintaining patient safety
