American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Level III NICU RN for night shift at a California community hospital. You will provide specialized neonatal care on a 3x12-hour schedule (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) and handle high-risk deliveries, ventilator support, and complex neonatal conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience with NICU focus
• CA RN license required; Compact license accepted
• BLS and NRP certifications required (NRP advanced preferred)
• Experience with high-risk deliveries, ventilator management and neonatal meds
• Comfort caring for neonates from <24 weeks to >34 weeks gestation
• Two supervisory references within last 3 years
• Full SSN and DOB required

Responsibilities

• NICU with ~190 births per month at a community acute care hospital
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM-6:30 AM)
• Patient ratio 1:2-3
• May float to Mother/Baby for couplet care or for babies only
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend coverage every other weekend
• Use Epic for charting and documentation
• Provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care including respiratory support and line management
• Manage high-risk deliveries and complex neonatal conditions
• Travelers may float between sister facilities within the health system
• Must commit to 3 of 5 major holidays
• First-time travelers not accepted; prior staff must reside outside 50-mile radius for rehire
• On-site free parking
• Navy blue scrubs required
