Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Reno, NV. You will provide specialized care to critically ill newborns and operate life-support equipment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires BLS and NRP certification, 1 year of NICU experience, and a valid RN license. Travel nurses receive competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and dedicated support from a clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a neonatal intensive care RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and monitors critically ill and premature newborns.
• Operates NICU equipment including ventilators and CPAP machines.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per NICU nursing standards.
• Educates and supports parents on neonatal care.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans with the team.
