Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Canton, GA. The role offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and requires recent NICU experience, an active RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications. Travel experience with a supportive clinical team is provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a neonatal intensive care RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Current NRP certification.
• Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification (RNC-NIC) preferred.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assesses critically ill and premature neonates, documenting changes.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per NICU protocols.
• Operates and manages NICU equipment (ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps).
• Assists with life-saving and diagnostic procedures (e.g., intubation).
• Educates and supports families on neonatal care and feeding.
• Develops individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
