Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking Neonatal Intensive Care Unit travel nurses for a 13-week assignment in McKinney, Texas. The position offers a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour day shifts and travel employment.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of acute care NICU experience, BLS and NRP certifications, and an active RN license. This role involves patient support, parental guidance, and rapid response to changes in patient status.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience, preferably in NICU.
• BLS and NRP certifications required or in progress.
• Active RN license in the relevant state.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to sick or premature infants in NICU.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Assess nutrition and perform specialized feedings.
• Assist with dressings, catheters, and IV starts.
• Manage arterial/venous therapies.
• Monitor and adjust NICU equipment (incubators, ventilators).
