Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for NICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Monitor and assess neonates, respond to changes in condition, and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and manage NICU equipment, including ventilators and monitors, with strict adherence to policy and protocol.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent discretion to optimize patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with families, provide education as appropriate, and ensure continuity of care during shifts.
