Job summary

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Neuro Step-Down in Charlottesville, VA. This travel assignment is 13 weeks, 48 hours per week, nights 12-hour shifts, with 1:3 patient ratio and weekend/holiday rotation.

Requirements include VA or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale certification, Epic charting experience, and two professional references. Compensation includes a tax-free stipend and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current VA or compact RN license; NIH Stroke Scale certification may be pending.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 12-bed Stepdown unit focused on neuro and critical care.
• Care for post-Neuro ICU, neuro trauma, hemorrhage and post-op neuro patients.
• Patient ratio 1:3; night shifts 12 hours; 36–48 hours per week.
• Epic EMR charting; float per facility policy.
• Travel assignments with up to 40 hours of RTO per 13 weeks.
