Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking an Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team in Tucson, AZ. The RN will work with surgeons, anesthesiologists and staff to deliver high-quality patient care in the operating room, following state nurse practice acts and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include ensuring supplies and timely cases, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising bedside care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Experience with robotics, General Surgery, Gynecology, and Urology.

Job description

Position Information:

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.

Day shift 4x10's (1230-2300)

REQUIRED:

• BLS
• Experience with robotics, General Surg, GYN, Urology
