Job summary

Siemens Healthineers seeks a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a Neuro IR program in Pittsburgh, PA, on a 13-week contract. The role covers scrub, circulate, tooltip operation, and post-processing in a biplane setting.

The assignment involves travel with a 4x10-hour schedule, 30-minute call radius, and potential weekend coverage. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with at least two years in Neuro IR. Training opportunities and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the Neuro IR modality.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Siemens Zee Biplane imaging system to support Neuro Interventional procedures.
• Perform sterile scrub and circulating responsibilities while supporting physicians and the procedural team.
• Perform 3D imaging spins and advanced post-processing.
• Support complex Neuro IR procedures including stroke interventions, cerebral interventions, and carotid interventions.
• Support neurovascular procedures including flow diverter placement and coiling.
• Assist with thrombectomy, lysis, stenting, and other interventional Neuro IR procedures.
• Operate and support ancillary equipment including Medrad injectors and ultrasound.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, fellows, nurses, and other technologists to provide efficient and high-quality procedural support.
• Work as part of a Neuro IR team consisting of a physician, resident, nurse, and two technologists.
