Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Travel Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist position in Pittsburgh, PA offers a 13-week contract to support a high-acuity Neuro IR service with sterile scrub, circulation, and imaging duties using the Siemens Zee Biplane.

You will operate advanced imaging and post-processing, participate in stroke and carotid interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires ARRT and BLS, plus 2 years in Neuro IR; USA residence required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with the Neuro IR modality.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Siemens Zee Biplane imaging system to support Neuro Interventional procedures.
• Perform sterile scrub and circulating responsibilities while supporting physicians and the procedural team.
• Perform 3D imaging spins and advanced post-processing.
• Support complex Neuro IR procedures, including stroke interventions and carotid interventions.
• Support neurovascular procedures including flow diverter placement and coiling.
• Assist with thrombectomy, lysis, stenting, and other Neuro IR procedures.
• Operate and support ancillary equipment including Medrad injectors and ultrasound.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, fellows, nurses, and other technologists for efficient procedural support.
• Be part of a Neuro IR team consisting of physician, resident, nurse, and two technologists.

Job description

Siemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist position that will provide support for our client's healthcare system in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 13-week travel healthcare contract assignment supporting a high-acuity Neuro Interventional Radiology service.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Modality: IR: Neuro only

Equipment:Siemens Zee Biplane

Schedule: 4x10s

Role: Scrub, Circulate, Operate Equipment, Post Process

Pay: $3,446weekly gross (eligible for benefits)

Call: Required, with a 30-minute response radius. Neuro call is approximately 1–2 times per week and 1–2 weekends per month.

As a Travel Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will support a high-acuity Neuro IR team performing complex cerebral, carotid, and neurovascular interventions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technologist who is comfortable working in a biplane environment and supporting advanced Neuro IR procedures.
