Responsibilities

Provide neuro intensive care to patients, including ventilator support, IV access, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, continuous IV sedation, stroke management, external ventricular drains, ICP monitoring, post‑neurosurgery management, isolated care with PPE, lumbar drain management, and EPIC charting.

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU
• Strong neuro critical care background, not just general ICU experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Pass EKG testing prior to start
• Floating requirement within/near facility per job description
• NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission
• Unit will NOT accept first‑time travelers
• Travel experience required

Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience

• Arterial line management skills

Licensure

NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission.
