Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN for Neuro ICU in Charleston, SC. This role requires nights, 12-hour shifts, and 36 hours per week with a travel assignment.

The RN must have 36 months of RN experience, including at least one year in an ICU, and be able to care for 1–3 ICU patients, including ventilated patients. Experience with Meditech is preferred, plus telemetry and CRRT/hemodynamics proficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading telemetry strips; CRRT and hemodynamics expertise
• Phlebotomy and respiratory treatments outside ICU

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to Neuro ICU patients
• Manage neuro-critical procedures and post-op care
• Monitor telemetry, ventilators, and hemodynamics
• Collaborate with ED/PCU float scenarios as needed
• Bedside shift report at each transfer of care

Job Summary

ICU Neuro (Intensive Care Unit Neurological) in North Charleston, SC. This position involves providing specialized critical care to neurological ICU patients, including those with head and neck procedures, aneurysmal hemorrhages, and neurocritical treatments. The role requires working nights, every other weekend, and holidays, with a focus on advanced neurological patient management.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Education/Experience: 36 months RN experience, with at least one year in an ICU setting; preferred experience in a facility utilizing Meditech; ability to care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including ventilated patients; proficiency in reading telemetry strips; advanced skills in CRRT and hemodynamics; phlebotomy and respiratory treatments outside ICU
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform procedures such as post-op CABG, Impella, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz, neuro procedures for aneurysmal hemorrhage, management of EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia. Bedside shift report required at each transfer of care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Submission: Candidates are expected to be comfortable with emergency department or PCU float scenarios and possess strong skills in neuro patient care and ventilator management.
