Job summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for an RTR (Open Vision / Teledyne) Technician to support operations in New Castle, DE. This callout/travel position offers hands-on NDT work in a dynamic field setting.

The role requires a technical background in NDT, a Level II certification, and the ability to interpret inspection results while maintaining safety standards. You may supervise others and participate in varied testing duties across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in NDT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination and adhere to safety rules.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visuals.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections and may supervise others.
