Job summary

Acuren is currently seeking NDT Level II Technicians to support operations in Davenport, IA. This is a callout/travel position requiring setup and calibration of NDT equipment, conducting tests, interpreting results, and reporting findings.

Responsibilities include applying testing criteria, ensuring safety regulations, and possibly supervising others. Acuren offers competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid holidays/time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Level II in RT, MT, PT or UT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.
• Willingness to travel as a callout position.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods
• Establish techniques for proper examination with safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
