Job summary

Acuren is seeking a RT Level II (CR a plus) for operations in Indianapolis, IN. This will be a cal lout/travel position with up to 75% travel across IN, KY, OH, TN and Southern IL.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants, in environments such as Corn/Agricultural, Petro-Chemical, Gas Plants and Pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating nondestructive testing equipment, testing to detect defects, interpreting radiographs and readings, organizing and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II RT/CR in RT/CR.
• Additional NDT certifications (MT/PT/UTT) a plus.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination and ensure safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT/digital readouts, conductivity meters, and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
