Job summary

Acuren is seeking an RT Level II (CR a plus) for operations in Indianapolis, IN. This is a callout/travel position with travel up to 75% across IN, KY, OH, TN and southern IL, supporting environments in Corn/Agricultural, Petro-Chemical, Gas Plants and Pharmaceuticals.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants. Requires Certified Level II RT/CR and strong NDT background; some college preferred. Candidates must be able to travel and work in diverse field settings.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Certified Level II RT/CR; additional NDT certs a plus.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures; ability to interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination and ensure safety compliance.
• Apply testing criteria per specs and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visuals.
• Organize and report test results; perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 75% throughout IN, KY, OH, TN AND SOUTHERN IL.(Environments will be Corn/Agricultural, Petro-Chemical, Gas Plants and Pharmaceuticals.)

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test resultsPerform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II RT/CR

• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
