Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing invites a Multimodality CT/X-Ray Technologist to join a 13-week travel assignment in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The role rotates between CT and X-ray, with a required 1 year of CT/X-ray experience, ARRT-CT certification, and Wisconsin licensure.

Expect 20 hours per week over two 8-hour day shifts, with weekend and on-call rotations as described. The position emphasizes independent work in fluoroscopy and surgery, IV and contrast administration, and careful adherence to safety

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CT/X-ray experience.
• Demonstrated CT and X-ray skills.

• Travel experience; first-time travelers not accepted.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Multimodality Technologist who can work independently in CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and surgery. This role rotates between CT and X-ray, requiring flexibility, strong technical skills, and confidence working across a variety of imaging environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
• Work independently in fluoroscopy and surgical imaging.
• Perform general CT examinations, cardiac imaging, angiograms, and CT angiography (CTA).
• Conduct stroke imaging and contrast-enhanced studies.
• Start IVs and administer contrast according to established protocols.
• Assist with patient transport and safe positioning.
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and follow patient safety protocols.
• Float between CT and X-ray departments as needed.

Must-Have Credentials

• ARRT-CT certification
• Wisconsin state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Demonstrated CT and X-ray skills
• Ability to work independently in fluoroscopy and surgical imaging
• Previous travel experience; first-time travelers are not accepted

Preferred: Strong IV skills, Epic experience, and familiarity with a variety of CT examinations.

• Rotating schedule is provided within an 8-week scheduling period, typically 1–2 weeks in advance.
• Weekend scheduling may vary based on departmental needs.
• Holiday shifts may be required during the contract.
• Optional floating to a nearby location approximately 20 minutes away may be available.
• Professional scrubs of any color are acceptable.
• Support includes a department supervisor, radiology colleagues, and 24/7 hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and code-team coverage.
• The department offers a small, close-knit, travel-friendly team environment.
