Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Clinton, Maryland. This 13-week contract runs 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, starting 11/02/2026. Travel assignments offer hospital settings, patient care across MS/Tele units, and weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Candidate must hold BLS and pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation exam with at least 80%. IV therapy, phlebotomy, and renal assessments are required skills on the unit.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation exam with min score 80%.
• Ability to administer IV therapy and perform phlebotomy.
• Cardiac monitoring proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a hospital setting for MS/Tele patients with cardiac monitoring needs.
• Pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80%, 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Administer IV therapy, phlebotomy, and perform genitourinary/renal assessments.
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as required.
• Cover every other weekend and holiday shifts.
