Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms, progress, and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses and self-care after discharge
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Uphold infection control protocols and hospital standards
