Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Lees Summit, Missouri. The role offers 24 hours per week with 12-hour evening shifts and travel compensation.

Required: completion of a two-year radiologic technology program, state registration, ARRT certification, and 18 months MRI experience, preferably in critical care. Benefits include weekly pay, housing allowance, health and life insurance, credentialing support, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to assist diagnosis.
• Ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils on the MRI table.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care and maintain a patient-focused environment.
