Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Reno, Nevada. The role requires completion of an approved radiologic program, state registration, and ARRT certification. The contract runs 13 weeks with a 40-hour work week and a standard 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors who come in contact with the MRI magnet.
• Position patients and coils on the MRI table.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters, operate MRI scanners and monitor image data.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a professional manner.
• Promote a safe work environment for staff and patients.
