Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The role requires completion of an approved radiologic program, state registration, and ARRT certification, with 18 months MRI experience preferred.

The assignment runs 13 weeks, at 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. Travel and credentialing benefits, housing options, and health coverage are provided through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to support diagnoses.
• Position patients and coils for MRI studies and monitor during scans.
• Set technical parameters and observe image data on monitors.
• Ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI unit.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
