Job Overview
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Scranton, Pennsylvania, starting May 26, 2026. The assignment is for 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors in the MRI environment.
- Position patients and coils on the scanner table.
- Inject contrast media as required.
- Set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI scanners and related equipment, and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
- Recognize and respond to life‑threatening situations.
- Interpret normal versus abnormal images.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
- Deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Promote a safe work environment, incorporating national patient‑safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Completion of a two‑year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Preferred: At least eighteen months of MRI technologist experience, especially in a critical‑care setting.
