MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Liberty, Missouri. The role requires expertise in MRI imaging, attention to patient safety, and ability to work a dayshift schedule.

You will perform MRI procedures, prep patients, inject contrast if needed, and ensure regulatory compliance. Travel assignments include housing options and weekly pay with credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• MRI technologists utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology and MRI principles to safely operate MRI scanners, aiding in diagnosis.
• Ensure patient, staff and visitor safety around the MRI's strong magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils on the table that slides inside the MRI scanner.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters, operate MRI scanners and observe image data on monitors during scans.
• Be familiar with differences between normal and abnormal images.
• Recognize and respond to life threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient-focused environment with timely, compassionate care.
