Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a licensed MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. This 20-week contract requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate provides high-quality imaging while maintaining safety and patient care in a dynamic travel environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of regular (20+ hours/week) MRI Technologist experience.
• Active License in required state.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in MRI procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Follow protocols and safety procedures for optimal image quality and patient care.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions with tact and professionalism.
• Ensure patient and staff safety by enforcing safety protocols.
• Orient and train new hires and students in MRI operations.
