Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This 13-week contract features 3x12 night shifts and approximately 36 hours per week, with a competitive pay package.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of MRI experience, state licensure, BLS, and proficiency in MRI protocols. Strong communication and patient safety focus are essential for success on this assignment.

Qualifications

• Two years of continuous MRI experience with proficiency in MRI Technologist duties.
• Current state license and BLS certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Hospital radiology experience preferred (EP).

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Performs studies following set protocol with proper coil placement.
• Adjusts imaging parameters and collects data for interpretation.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures safety.
• Trains new staff and students when required.
