MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The position entails 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights, for a 13-week duration, under a travel employment arrangement.

Requirements include a two-year Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registry, and state radiology registration; 18 months MRI experience preferred, ideally in critical care. Benefits and travel reimbursements are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsabilités

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure patient, staff and visitor safety around the MRI magnet and environment.
• Position patients and coils on the table and assist with contrast injections as required.
• Set technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care and maintain a safe work environment.
