Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Orangeburg, SC. This role requires 1 year of experience, BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, with state licensing as required.

As an MRI Technologist, you will prepare patients, screen for safety, operate MRI equipment, collaborate with radiologists, and ensure high-quality images for interpretation. The position involves travel and a 40-hour work week with nights.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration in MRI.
• State licensing as required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality for interpretation.
• Position patients using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist during procedures and manage contrast administration.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
