Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. This position focuses on MRI imaging in a hospital setting with a night schedule (10-hour nights, 4 nights per week) and on-call requirements. Start date is 10/26/2026 for a 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification and AHA BLS, plus a minimum of 2 years MRI experience. Travel eligibility and safety-first patient handling are essential for success.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of recent MRI experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States and travel assignments.
• Must follow hospital imaging protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Position, prep, and screen patients; manage devices; screen contraindications.
• Acquire high-quality MRI scans by selecting sequences and adjusting parameters.
• Monitor patients during scanning and report findings to radiologist.
• Maintain equipment safety and perform QA checks per facility protocols (ALARA).
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure accurate imaging and timely reporting.
