Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a night shift in Charleston, West Virginia, working 4x10-hour nights in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with a Philips scanner. The assignment runs 13 weeks starting Nov 24, 2026, with a 40-hour week and travel benefits.

Requirements include 2+ years MRI experience, ARRT MR or R, BLS, WV license active by start date, IV starts, and PACS/contrast familiarity. Some weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a registered MRI technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (MR) or (R) certification required.
• WV State License required (active by start date; pending accepted).
• IV Starts required.
• PACS and Contrast experience preferred.
• Experience in Outpatient, Inpatient and ER settings.
• MRI procedures: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Spine, Musculoskeletal.
• Minimum 2 Manager/Charge references from within past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform night-shift MRI examinations in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital.
• Operate 1 Philips MRI scanner with shared coverage among staff.
• Charting using Cerner and Fuji Synapse; no on-call requirement.
• Potential weekend shifts; no facility-floating assignments.
