Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for evening shifts at Magnet Hospital. The role requires MRI and Siemens equipment experience, ARRT certification, and ARRT MRI expertise to support a 324-bed center with Epic EMR.

The position offers 40 hours per week, a 13-week assignment, and no on-call requirements. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and have ARRT MRI and ARRT MRI credentials.

• Compact license not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scan room and patient for MRI examinations.
• Administer IV or oral contrast materials as indicated and screen patients for contraindications.
• Position patients appropriately and select correct protocols, coils, and restraints for scanning.
• Enter and review patient data, scan parameters, and prior exam history.
• Prepare and organize images and clinical information for radiologist review.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for evening shifts, requiring MRI and Siemens equipment experience along with ARRT certification.

Details

• 324-bed medical center offering 24-hour emergency care and Level II trauma care
• MRI department using Siemens equipment and Epic EMR
• 5x8 hour evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• 40 hour guaranteed work week
• One weekend per month required (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Required MRI experience
• Active ARRT certification in MRI
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to MRI specialty
• 2 completed supervisory reference forms within the last two years
• Compact license not accepted
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
