Job description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment requiring ARRT(MR) certification and 2+ years of experience with Cerner EMR proficiency.

Requirements

• ARRT(MR) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Work in the MRI department of an acute care hospital with a Level 3 NICU and multiple specialty centers
• Perform MRI imaging including stroke and oncology cases, with anesthesia support as needed
• Cardiac imaging competency preferred
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Weekend call rotation for STAT imaging requests, including Friday nights and Saturday/Sunday coverage
• Potential to float to an outpatient imaging center approximately 5 minutes from the main campus
• Equipment includes GE MRI at main campus, GE Mobile MRI, and Open Hitachi MRI at the imaging center
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Facility is a Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 355 beds and Level 3 NICU
• Includes Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, and Women's Center
• Scrub color is flexible
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a local rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
