American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Des Moines, IA, requiring 24 months of MRI experience and ARRT or ARMRIT certification.

Details

MRI department across UnityPoint Health - Iowa Methodist Medical Center campuses
Patient population includes ED, inpatient, and outpatient cases
Choice of Monday-Friday 7a-8a start/3:30p-4:30p end schedule OR alternating 5x8s and 4x10s week to week, 40 hrs/week
Holiday rotation required
On-call requirements include one weeknight (Sun-Thurs) and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
May be required to float across Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist campuses
Uses Siemens and GE MRI equipment
Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

Minimum 24 months of current MRI experience required
ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification required

Additional Information

Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
Charcoal gray scrubs required
Past UnityPoint Health employees, whether FTE or PRN float pool, cannot work travel in another market regardless of current or recent facility, though this restriction does not apply if they previously worked travel assignments at UPH
