Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and state licensing where required. The position is 13 weeks long, with 40 hours per week, days shift, travel employment type.

As an MRI Tech, you will operate MRI equipment, ensure image quality, and prepare patients for imaging. The role includes patient safety, documentation, and collaboration with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience in MRI.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with registration.
• State-specific licensing may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedures.
• Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist with procedures and image acquisition.
• Load and operate contrast injectors and evaluate image quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS system.
