Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This position requires licensed MRI technologists with at least two years of recent, full-time experience and proficiency in MRI procedures.

You'll work 12-hour days on a 36-hour weekly schedule, with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging. This contract/temporary travel role offers benefits including health insurance, 401K matching, and licensing reimbursement through Focus Staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of regular MRI experience (≥20 hours/week).
• License in required state.
• BLS certification.
• Fully proficient in MRI procedures.
• Effective oral and written communications.
• Ability to present information to customers, clients, and staff.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
• 2 years hospital experience in clinical area; EP preferred.

Responsabilités

• MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Under supervision, performs MRI procedures with safe and efficient processes.
• Performs patient studies according to protocol and positions coils as needed.
• Operates imaging equipment and inputs scan sequences and data.
• Explains MRI procedures to patients with tact and professionalism.
• Ensures patient and staff safety by enforcing safety protocols.
• Trains new hires and students in MRI procedures.
