Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment in Midland, Texas. The role requires 2+ years of MRI experience, ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, and BLS.

The candidate will perform a wide range of MRI studies in a hospital-based department using Siemens/GE/Philips systems and PACS. Candidates must have strong Siemens experience, be able to prep and administer contrast, and handle peripheral IVs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MRI Technologist experience required.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong Siemens equipment experience strongly preferred.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts.
• License required if applicable.
• Skills checklist and two supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures across multiple anatomical regions and specialties.
• Work with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts.
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols as part of daily duties.
