American Traveler is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a Midland, Michigan assignment. The role is an evening shift with 40 hours per week and a 13-week duration, starting date 10/12/2026. Experience with MRI and Siemens equipment is required, along with ARRT MRI certification.

The position involves preparing patients, screening for contraindications, and ensuring correct imaging protocols are followed, with no on-call requirements and a 324-bed facility context.

Qualifications

• Required MRI experience.
• Required Siemens equipment experience.
• Active ARRT MRI certification.
• Active BLS certification (AHA).
• License required if applicable.
• Skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to MRI specialty required for consideration.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Prepare scan room and patient for MRI examinations.
• Screen patients for contraindications and explain procedures.
• Position patients and apply coils, restraints, and protocols during scans.
• Ensure proper image orientation and prepare complete records for radiologist review.
• Matching scrubs of any color required and comply with department policies
