Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Outpatient Imaging in Pensacola, FL, seeks a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Diagnostic Imaging to operate scanners, prepare patients, and ensure quality imaging while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires ARRT credentials (Radiography or MRI) and a BLS certification within 30 days, with the ability to travel between Perdido, Summit, Tiger Point, and Milestone locations.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire or transfer. Must have ARRT radiography or MRI credential before hire or transfer.
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years related experience.
• Must travel to all Ascension locations (Perdido, Summit, Tiger Point, Milestone).

Responsibilities

• Operate a scanner to obtain diagnostic images.
• Position patients and select parameters to produce cross-sectional images.
• Pre-screen, schedule, and educate patients about examinations.
• Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images, and develop films in automatic processors.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

BLS Provider within 1 Month

ARRT Radiography credentialed before hire
