Qualifications

• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to assist in diagnosing disease and injury.
• Ensure safety of patients when in contact with MRI machines.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Observe image data during scans.

Skills

MRI Tech experience

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Operation of MRI scanners

Education

Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
