Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract in Richmond, Virginia. The assignment runs 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week, evenings shift, and travel employment.

Candidates should have completed a two-year radiologic technology program, state registration, ARRT registry, and ideally 18 months MRI experience in a critical care setting. Benefits include housing, health insurance, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors in the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils on the table and operate scanners during scans.
• Inject contrast media as required and monitor image data on monitors.
