Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. The role requires at least 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration, plus state licensing where required.

The MRI Tech will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, operate MRI equipment, and assist radiologists. This position is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MRI experience.
• Current BLS certificate and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification with MR registration.
• State-specific license where required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure.
• Position patients for MRI scans with immobilization and safety equipment.
• Load and operate contrast injectors as directed.
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and label images.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use McKesson PACS.
• Assist radiologist with procedure and start IVs.
• Follow safety procedures for radiation.
