American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an acute care hospital and outpatient clinic in Minnesota. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of MRI experience, ARRT R certification, BLS, and Epic charting proficiency.

The assignment features 4x9 hour days, weekend rotation, and exposure to GE and Siemens MRI systems with PACS. You will perform comprehensive MRI studies across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, MSK, and cardiovascular regions, with contrast administration

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as MRI Technologist.
• Active ARRT R certification required; ARRT MR preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Community hospital experience required.
• Teaching hospital and Level I/II trauma experience preferred.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and administering contrast.
• ER/trauma and abdomen/pelvis imaging experience required.
• Proficient in abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, MSK, and cardiovascular MRI.
• Experience with CINE, diffusion, MIP, MRP, and perfusion techniques.
• Licensure required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Covers both hospital and outpatient clinic settings.
• Acute care hospital with Magnet designation, teaching status, and Level II Trauma.
• 4x9 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, flexible 9 and 10 hour shifts, 36-40 hours per week.
• Works every 4th weekend.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Uses GE and Siemens MRI equipment and PACS system.
• Perform MRI imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, MSK, and cardiovascular studies.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed.
• Required to work holidays as needed by the facility.
• Does not accept local candidates within 25 miles of the facility.
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of submission.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
