Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Amarillo, TX. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and a minimum of 1 year MRI experience, with prior travel work preferred.

You’ll operate GE and Hitachi MRI systems, audit patient safety, and collaborate with clinical teams across inpatient and outpatient settings. The shift pattern includes 4x10 hour days with a rotating schedule, including weekends, and travel assignments are 40 hours per

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT required.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience.
• Previous travel assignment experience required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on inpatient and outpatient populations across adult and pediatric settings.
• Operate GE and Hitachi MRI scanners as part of a rotating schedule.
• Transport patients after hours and ensure patient safety during imaging.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to optimize imaging workflows.
