Qualifications

• Two years of continuous recent experience as an MRI Technologist (MRI Tech II)
• BLS certification
• Fully proficient in MRI procedures and safety protocols
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Hospital experience in a clinical area; EP preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images
• Follow set protocols, adjust sequences, and ensure image quality and safety
• Explain MRI procedures to patients and address concerns with tact and empathy
• Train new hires and students in MRI procedures
• Ensure patient and staff safety by following safety protocols and screening for hazards
